As a proud Chicana, art has been a constant in my life. From sibling routines in the living room to dancing at cada fiesta to making music videos with friends, art is a vessel of joy and creativity that has given me a better understanding of myself and of the world around me. Much of the credit to being the performer I am today goes to always having music around me and the support of mi familia.  I believe in the power of art to connect us to each other and to tell the stories that matter to us. Whether it's performing on the stage, editing a video, or writing a song, I have a desire to create a world of art that is not bound by any binary—one that uses the full range of humanity to tell stories that are yearning to be heard.
